UPDATE: Point Within a Circle Symbol on Texe Marrs' Site

Episode #8: The appearance of occult-type fonts on the websites of so-called Christian ministries conditions Christians to think the appearance of evil is acceptable to God.

The Liberty To The Captives Podcast, "Warning: Texe Marrs and Uncleanness" contains a warning about the masonic-looking "A" font on the "Hot Zone Alert" graphic featured on Texe Marrs' Power of Prophecy main page. This masonic font was also chosen as part of the cover design of Texe Marrs' Codex Magica on DVD. (The "A" font in "Freeman Perspective" is fashioned to look like a compass and square.)

The appearance of occult-type fonts on the websites of professed Christian ministries is serious because it conditions Christians to think that the appearance of evil is acceptable to God. It is not.

Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22

For example, Zeph Daniel thoroughly marked his former lambreport.com website with the "point within a circle" masonic symbolism. (Note: Zeph removed the occult "point with a circle" symbolism and had his website redesigned shortly after my "Zeph Daniel: Beware His Net" series commenced. I saved the graphic here for the purpose of documenting my statements.

The same masonic-type font that appears on Texe Marrs' Power of Prophecy website is also found on the Pioneer Adventist Writings Seventh-day Adventist Page. http://dedication.www3.50megs.com/pioneerwritings.html. (This url is provided for documentation only.) This site contains links to pages that contain books that teach the dangerous false doctrines of Seventh Day Adventism (the doctrines of Ellen G. White). Each link on the main page brings the visitor to a page with a heading that contains one or more an "As" that are constructed with a small "v" across the middle that causes the letter to look like a compass and square.

SDADefend.com Uses Same "A" Masonic Font and Winged-Angels Graphic

update 2/18/07: Another Seventh-day Adventist site, SDADefend.com, which is presented by Pilgrim's Rest (Vance Ferrell), uses the same masonic-type A font in their "SDADefend.com" graphic.

At this writing, this site also decorates its main page with a graphic that depicts angels with wings:

Angels do not have wings. Cherubim, which are closely associated with the throne of God and have the faces of animals and man, have four or five wings:

"Angels do not have wings; cherubim have four or five wings. (Ezk. 1:6, 10:21 & Rev. 4:7-8)" (1)

Why does Vance Ferrell (Pilgrim's Rest) defend Seventh-day Adventism with a site that uses a masonic font in its "SDADefend.com" graphic and depicts angels the way New Agers envision them?

Why did Ellen G. White use occult terminology in her writings?  See: New Age Markings on Ellen G. White's Writings -- "Mother Earth" ,"Vital Force"  ,  New Age Markings on Ellen G. Female Angels Mark Seventh Day Adventist Site

Take note of the three female angels graphic in the top left-hand corner of the Templeton Hills  Seventh-day Adventist Church main page that a cached page documents that Steve Wohlberg pastored until at least Jan. 2, 2007: http://www.templetonhills.com. This url is provided so that you may verify that occult symbolism is used as part of the website design of this newly designed Seventh-day Adventist site.

Female angels are foreign to the bible:

Whenever the written words of God describe angels it is always with MASCULINE personal pronouns such as "he" or him." Feminine personal pronouns like "she" or "her" are never used. (2)

Flying women with wings are not angels. Rather, the bible associates such creatures with wickedness. Female "angels" are actually devils in disguise. "In the Scriptures angels are never described as having wings, nor do they manifest themselves as women." (3)

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. Zechariah 5:7-9

Texe Marrs sells Steve Wohlberg's book, Exposing the Israel Deception, without warning his readers that this author is a leader in the Seventh-day Adventist movement.

This is only tiny sampling of an ominous trend in the falling away and fake church: marking one's ministry with occult symbolism. Satan's workers are required to mark their work for their egotistical master. Followers of the Lord Jesus Christ are commanded to "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" not mark their ministries for Satan whether in the kind of websites they send visitors to or by the use of occult symbolism or any other way. God commands his people to abstain from all appearance of evil.

Note: The name of the DVD produced by The Power Hour that contains a thunderbolt symbol in the opening seconds of the production is called 9/11: In Plane Sight. For more information about occult markings on The Power Hour, see Alternative Media Broadcasters and Spiritual Compromise.

What about Dr. Cathy Burns' book, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated?

Did Dr. Cathy Burns mark her book for the devil? No. The occult symbols that are displayed on the cover of her book, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated are there for a purpose and it is not a hidden one. These symbols represent the numerous occult symbols exposed in her book. This podcast is about occult symbolism that is sneaked onto a website or DVD (or DVD packaging) or onto a book cover or a website where it serves a hidden or secret purpose. Occult means hidden. Dr. Burns displayed occult symbols on her book cover to reveal at first glance what her book is about. She then proceeded to expose the hidden meaning of each symbol that is contained on the cover of her book.

Texe Marrs, the Templeton Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church website (formerly pastored by Steve Wohlberg of White Horse Media), the Seventh-day Adventist Pioneer Writings web site, SDADefend.com, Zeph Daniel and The Power Hour did not place the above-mentioned occult-type fonts and symbolism on their sites and/or products for the purpose of exposing them.
