Rev. 3:10

 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, *I* also will keep thee out of the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole habitable world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

[John Darby changed Jesus Christ's stated promise of keeping believers who keep the word of his patience "FROM the hour of TEMPTATION" to the corrupt Greek text's false promise: keeping believers "OUT of the hour of TRIAL." Darby's insertion of the words, "out," "trial," and "about" promote the Brethren's innovative, imminent return of Christ, pre-trib doctrine.]
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Rev. 3:16

 Thus because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spue thee out of my mouth.

 
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Rev. 6:11

 And there was given to them, to each one a white robe; and it was said to them that they should rest yet a little while, until both their fellow-bondmen and their brethren, who were about to be killed as they, should be fulfilled.
And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Rev. 8:13

 And I saw, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to them that dwell upon the earth, for the remaining voices of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound.

 
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition:

Rev. 17:8

 The beast which thou sawest was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go into destruction:

 
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

[Christians who walk after the Spirit (and thus have assurance of security in Christ) are delivered from the wrath to come, which hell.]

1 Thess. 1:10

 and to await his Son from the heavens, whom he raised from among the dead, Jesus, our deliverer from the coming wrath.

[Pre-Trib Rapture Doctrine inserted into the Darby Bible:  Darby wanted Christians to think the "coming wrath" meant the Tribulation. The Bible clearly distinguishes between tribulation and wrath.

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Matthew 13:39

 and the enemy who has sowed it is the devil; and the harvest is the completion of the age, and the harvestmen are angels.

[J. N. Darby altered New Testament prophetic passages by replacing the word, "world" with "age" (period of time) in order to promote the dispensationalist paradigm shift. In these instances, the substitution of the word, "age" for "world"  communicates the notion of the completion or consummation of the age rather than the end of the world.]

According to the Scofield 1917 Reference Bible, "A dispensation is a period of time during which man is tested in respect to some specific revelation of the Will of God" [emphasis mine]
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Rom. 11:25

For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, that ye may not be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the nations be come in;

The note from the 1917 Scofiled Reference Bible reveals the reason John Darby changed the word, Gentiles to nations.

The "fullness of the Gentiles" is the completion of the purpose of God in this age, viz. the outcalling from among the Gentiles of a people for Christ's name, "the church which is His body" Eph 1:22-23 Cf Ac 15:14; Eph 4:11-13; 1Co 12:12-13. It must be distinguished from "the times of the Gentiles" Lu 21:24.

Darby altered the verse outright and Scofield followed suit by altering the verse via the insertion of his footnote. Both taught that Israel will be spiritually blind until God is finished with this dispensation or age. The real Bible (KJV) says that Israel will be spiritually blind until the "fulness of the Gentiles be come in."

Cyrus Scofield's definition in his 1917 Scofield Reference Bible for "day of Christ"--via marginal notes and footnotes--specifically promotes the concept of a pre-trib return of Jesus Christ.
