We need to be on the lookout for attitudinal
changers-- the people who work hard to change Christians' attitudes about Bible fundamentals in order to put them into an apostate mindset. This is
a common practice on the internet, and we all need to be ready to "Stand
Up For Jesus" whenever this occurs, and not deny Christ before men by our
silence when he is being blasphemed.
On March 25, 2002, "The Messenger" posted a message on
the Left Behind Message board called: "Sign Up For Ba'al Worship!"
The title is intended to shock and entice the
would-be reader to go and see what this is all about. Surely Ba'al worship is
sacrificing to devils, and no Christian would knowingly be a part of that!
What the reader is led to believe, however, is that the
word Ba'al does not mean demon god, like the one to whom the Israelites sacrificed
their children. On the contrary, the reader is led to believe that Ba'al means the Lord of Hosts of the Holy
Bible: Yahweh!
Let us read the post and see how the
reader is told he must come to this conclusion:
for those that missed the earlier post here
is a summation.
in the Hebrew language "Ba'al"
literally translates as "husband" (this gives deeper meaning to
Jerimiah 31:31-32 i think, and much other scripture)
we know that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob is our "Ba'al" our husband, who is Yeshua Ben Yahweh.
so if you love God say it loud here!
Shalom alacheim B'shem Yeshua!!!
If Ba'al Means husband in
One Context, Does That Mean the Most High God is Ba'al?
It is obvious the person who
extended the invitation to "Sign Up For Ba'al Worship" is trying to
get the reader to think the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is actually Ba'al!
A reader of this post protested:
"Baal worship is Satan worship. This
post says that Baal (Satan) is God."
This is the normal response of any
Christian. We all know the verses in the Bible about Ba'al worship always
means demon worship.
The attitudinal changer went to work
again. Here is his reply:
hiya rduffy
apparantly you did not read the content.
the hebrew word "ba'al" means
husband, not satan. the hebrew word shaitan means satan. (adversary)
do you have a concordance? look up

in Jeremiah 31:32 God calls himself
"husband" to Israel, if God was speaking Hebrew to Jerimiah (and i
am pretty sure he was) then God calls himself "Ba'al"
Luciferians Believe Lucifer
and Jesus Christ are the Same Person
This is tricky twisting but I can see that this
"Ba'al worshipping" poster has tried to falsely prove
that the Most High God of the Holy Bible is the unholy demon god Ba'al.
Luciferians believe Lucifer and Jesus
Christ are the same person. I am not stating this Left Behind poster is a
Luciferian, (even though he asserted the demon god Ba'al and Yahweh are one and
the same) but he is attempting to convince the reader that the Lord of Hosts
calls himself Ba'al. This is an attitudinal changing tactic that Luciferians are
persistently working on within the church. They work attitudinal changes
within Christendom to acclimate God's people for the New Age and the New Age Christ, whom they want the
Christians to be deceived into accepting!
Let us look at the verse he cited and see what
"husband" means in the Hebrew.
"Not according to the covenant that I made
with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of
the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto
them, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 31:32
husband is ba'al in Hebrew. It is Strong's #
01166
which means to marry, rule over, possess, own
(Qal) to marry, be lord (husband)
over
The word, ba'al, in this verse, is a verb, not a
noun, but even if it were a noun, it does not make ba'al the same person as the Most High
God. This word shows the relationship of the Most High to Israel; he was a
husband unto her. Being a loving husband is what the LORD did unto to his people,
Israel. The poster with the attitudinal changing agenda disregarded
context (and turned a verb into a noun) to try to convince the reader to believe
that Ba'al is one and the same as the Most High God. This is blasphemy.
Let us look and see what kind
of god Ba'al really is!
"Yet I have left me seven thousand in
Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath
not kissed him." 1Ki 19:18
The word Ba'al here is translated into the
Hebrew ba'al and it means lord--a specific kind of lord--a demon lord. We know
what the Most High thought of the god of the Canaanites and Phoenicians!
He was (and still is) provoked to anger at the worship of Baal! "1Ki 22:53
For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of
Israel, according to all that his father had done."

Notice there are three definitions for the word
ba'al here and the first one is the one that fits the context of
worship. Ba'al IS the devil. Ba'al is Satan. He is not the
Lord Most High of the Holy Bible. The answer to this blasphemous post,
must be:
"No, I
will be like the seven thousand in Israel and never sign up to worship
Ba'al!"
March 26, 2002
"Sign Up For Ba'al Worship!" is in
the End Times--Prophecy, Theology, and Interpretations section. They have
not deleted this blasphemy. Jesus said, "But whoso shall offend one
of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a
millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of
the sea." Matthew 18:6
update: March 29, 2002:
The entire forum: End Times--Prophecy, Theology and Interpretations section has
been deleted today. The "Administration" did not challenge the
blasphemous post, "Sign Up For Ba'al Worship" or post any correction
so that thousands would not be misled.
Jesus
said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
John 10:27 You decide why the Left Behind Message board administration did
not denounce this blasphemy to prevent many from thinking that perhaps
Ba'al really is the Lord of Hosts. Many seekers and some newborn babes
come to the Left Behind Message board, and the fact that this antichrist (against
the true Christ) message was left unchallenged and uncorrected did not escape my
notice. Is this incident on the Left
Behind Message board an isolated incident? Is this some odd-ball happening
that showed up on the forum that is entirely separate from the message of the
Left Behind series? No. Making the things of Jesus Christ and the
things of Antichrist the same, is a repeating theme in the Left Behind
series. No wonder the "administration" did not condemn this
wicked blasphemy and immediately remove the post. It is part of The Plan
and is the agenda of the entire Left Behind Series.
update: April 4, 2002
On
April 3rd, the forum was restored, and yes, the "Sign up for Ba'al
Worship" soul-subverting post is still there. They may remove the forum
again; I do not know. I am not going to keep track of it any longer.
Please do not allow the deliberate mixing of light and darkness on the Left Behind
Message board (and the lack of intervention by the "administration")
pervert you from the right way of the Lord. The Bible calls those who
pervert from the right ways of the Lord children of the devil: "And
said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou
enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the
Lord?" Acts. 13:10
